Young Family

I love this family! Last year, I photographed them in their backyard and it was so fun, so we decided to make it a tradition and do it again! The kids were so excited to show me their new cows! We had a fun evening together and the kids even pulled out their teeter-totter at the end to show me. Reagan, the oldest sister, loved to have her picture taken and was always ready to pose! Rigby, the oldest brother, had the most amazing freckles I've ever seen and the black and white image of just his face is one of my favorites! Paige and Porter are the twins and they were killing me with their cuteness! They were both a little shy, but Porter more so. His bashful smile left me smitten! Little Paige had brought out some bubbles before we began our session and waited so patiently to play with them again. As we finished up, I told her she could play her bubbles and I captured a few pictures of her. They turned out to be some of my favorite shots of the day. And sweet baby Cooper was definitely the family favorite. All of his older siblings couldn't wait to love on him and they all wanted to sit closest to him in the family group shots. He is a miracle baby- surprising doctors when they were certain a brain tumor was causing his vision problems. His brain is completely healthy and though they are still waiting on more answers about his eyesight, he is the happiest, most loving little boy and has so much love around him!

I love photographing kids and families being themselves. Totally in their element-whether it's playing on the teeter-totter with brothers, or blowing bubbles in the grass, or snuggling with mom. Those real life moments are always the ones that make me feel something. And those are the images that truly tell your family's story. Thank you Young family for such a fun evening!
